Distinguished track record in emotional interior design
Her project highlight order, visual comfort and clarity, a combination that generates a soft explosion grounded in playing with volumes, slender lines and white as the leitmotif. The result is always a sensitive design.
Susanna Cots is a Catalan interior architect with a track record of more than fifteen years who is passionate about changes that last, understandable metaphors and comfortable contrasts and who designs spaces and just about anything that can be designed. She has carved out a place in the ephemeral world of design by her simplicity and constancy.
She set up her studio in 2001 and it is currently located in the heart of the Empordà, in Barcelona. In 2014 she opened a second studio in Hong Kong that raises her international profile. In 2018 she began work on her most ambitious personal project, her home-studio in Peratallada (Empordà), where she will share her perception of nature, art, design and the beauty of the imperfection that lies in unsuspected corners of our lives with new eyes with the world.
The house opens in MAY 2019 and will be a design boutique, art gallery, workshop centre to learn to live with full awareness… A project full of vitality, in constant flux.
Susanna Cots has consolidated her position on the international scene with publications in more than 30 countries and awards such as “Best Architect and Interior Design Studio” (Luxury Lifestyle Awards, 2017) and the “Award for Excellence” (Lux Life Awards, 2018) .
